More specifically, you’ll actually want to mark your calendar March 10 – 15, and plan to spend at least five days in Kona, Hawai’i where you’ll meet up with us for a 2-day workshop focusing on Social Media and Direct to Consumer Sales (11th-12th), and then stay around and attend the 20th annual Kona Brewers Festival on Saturday, March 14th, 2015.

We know that you understand that marketing your business – both online and at your place of business – is an important and critical task for success. We also understand that you want to be frugal – allocating a minimum amount of time and money executing a Social Media and DTC strategy that yields in the greatest return.
At Craft Beverage Media, education is one of our foundations. We agree with many of you that Social Media is best executed in-house by those in the business that are a part of its culture and daily practices. Therefore, one of our primary goals is to share what we learn and share what we’ve experienced to work marketing craft beverage using this medium. We want to give you all the tools and understanding we have to be able to market and sell your product successfully and efficiently using Social Media.
We also have an extensive experience developing, implementing, and growing Direct-to-Consumer channels for craft beverage brands. From designing a tasting room that ignites spending to designing a loyalty program that uniquely fits a brand’s culture, its customers, and works within the law, we provide a unique and refreshing approach to understanding your customer and knowing how to increase direct sales.
Leading the Direct-to-Consumer portion of the workshop will be WISE Academy – a leading sales educator for the wine industry. This is a unique opportunity for other segments of the beverage industry to learn from WISE and improve their own DTC efforts.
This retreat-like workshop will take place at the King Kamehameha Beach Hotel in Kailua-Kona where we’ll spend the better portion of two days diving deep into Social Media and DTC sales training. We will meet from 11am – 4pm allowing you the mornings and late afternoon to enjoy island activities. Lunches in the program are included as are dinners both on the 11th and 12th.
Included with each workshop registration is also a ticket to the 20th annual Kona Brewers Festival – set for Saturday, March 14, 2015. Craft Beverage Media is pleased to be an official sponsor of the festival and also participates in executing the festival’s social media strategy. The Kona Brewers Festival is one of the premier craft beer events in the country, selling out every year, and benefits a variety of causes in Hawai’i. One little secret about this event is that the founder of Craft Beverage Media, Cindy Molchany, grew up in Kona. She is especially excited to host this special event in a place near and dear to her heart.
